With pay stagnation and unemployment worries, should unions be expanding?


And why do the companies they work for need goverment aid to survive like GM and Chrysler?

Unions once served a purpose, but now goverment makes sure workplaces are safe, etc.

A teacher in my area got fired because a kid said he touched her and shit.

The district fired the teacher.

The union fought for an investigation and finally it came out that this little bitch was trying to get back at him for a bad test grade that got her grounded by her parents.

He was given his job back.

If not for the union that dude would never have shaken that stigma and would have never gotten another job.

Unions also protect employees from working in unsafe environments.

Anyone who is anti union is a fucking retard who is not aware of everything that unions have done for workers rights.
