People think I'm weird because I don't want a boyfriend?

All my cousins and friends have boyfriends. They all offer me to introduce me to their single guy friends, but I just am not interested in having a boyfriend right now. I also have a lot of guy friends who tell me they like me. I am 17 years old and will be 18 next month. When I tell people I don't a boyfriend they look at me as if I'm crazy. Is not wanting a boyfriend really that bad..?
 
No, it's not. I got out of a relationship not too long ago and I'm not planning to get into another one until I'm out of beauty school and on my own. Reason being is that I am totally fine being on my own and having fun single and not having to please someone all the time. So no, it's definitely not weird at all. People have their own thoughts on being in a relationship, so don't let that pressure you into a relationship, trust me, it's not worth it.
