he infinity knows everything. Why would he have to test someone if he already knows they will / will not "take the bait."

People say god tempts us with bad things and such, and adam with the forbidden fruit. Why would he tempt adam with the fruit if he KNEW hew would eat it. Why not just give him an adams apple or give him the fruit to eat.

btw. i am an atheist. Looking for some christian answers but atheist answers always accepted.
Have any input on this?

God infinitly know EVERYTHING. He knows before he even creates my soul that i will become an atheist and i will burn in hell forever. but yet, he still creates me only to end up burning me. but he loves me?!

Well if you were the supreme being, you would probably get bored and test people too. Maby he dosent want to kno in advance. And free will is also a good reason

If god wanted to he could have made us better. This test crap is so crazy, why would a god need anyone to pass a test.
This TEST STORY just covers the question "SO if there is a loving god, why is there so much suffering?"
People cannot answer that so they decided it was a test. The "test THEORY" seemed dumb when I was 5 and now I'm 55 and it looks even dumber!

I think this is a very valid ?, and hope that my answer will satisfy your need.

God does not tempt us, He allows us to make choices so sometimes we choose the wrong way or wrong thing. This is necessary because God wants us to freely choose His Way for our own lives.

(There are scriptures that say that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can endure and that God will always provide a way or help for us to make the right decisions.)

We are told that we will have troubles and temptations along the way. Those things are to help 'refine' us, as gold is refined and purified in the fire, so that we become stronger in faith and our lifestyle reflects the principles that God has written for our lives, bearing witness of God's love for us - for everyone to see.
