People of Texas: Can you answer the following question?

I used to live in Texas for 27 years, but I recently moved abroad, and I haven't been able to find the answer to this question anywhere on the internet.

Few people know that Scott McClellan is the son of politicians, and is the son of Carole Keeton Strayhorn, who was the Comptroller for the State of Texas.

My question is, has anyone found out what her position on the book her son wrote about his years with the Bush Administration is? Is she standing by her son? Has she disowned her son? Or is she remaining silent through the controversy?
 
I haven't heard anything from Strayhorn. I applaud him for the courage to come clean about Bush & Co. something Collin Powell has yet to do.
