you'll have to be logged in your computer and check the usb port, sometimes USB ports just won't work until you restart the computer.

Also some mp3s and other devices automatically install the driver and start charging as soon as u connect them to the computer. So check on the driver if its working properly and up to date.

i doubt theres anything wrong with your i zune, its deff your computer
 
i have a zune and as people with zunes know Microsoft periodically comes out with up dates to the software and the player. a couple weeks ago I got the update for my zune it was taking kind of a while and kinda froze up so i stopped it and turn off the computer. the next day when i plugged it into the computer it was fine so i thought no harm no foul, but recently the player has not been connecting with the zune. normally i would say okay what ever no new music but the problem arises that it also won't charge. i have now recently discovered that a wall charger will charge it. but i still need to know what wrong

Any Idea's?
