OK I RECENTLY WENT TO DAVE MATTEWS, GREAT DANK EVERY GOOD WORD, I WENT WITH MY FRIEND AND HIS GIRLFRIEND, THEY DIDNT WANT TO DANCE OR NUTTA, IT PISSED ME OFF, I THAN WENT TO KORN LATER ON THAT WEEK IN CHICAGO, AND THIS GUY WAS TRYING TO PICK POCKET ME AND I SAW HIM DO IT 2 LIKE 3 OTHER PEOPLE, does that piss you off or what!

Tonight at 9 I'm going to a Children of Bodom concert and Trivium is opening for them. The concert I went to before that was a System of a Down concert, and we were just standing idly and then this skinny short goth girl tries to start a mosh pit and she trips and falls.
 
Better to have a crowd that stands there and does nothing than a crowd where three people clear out a huge circle the width of the stage by kicking everyone in their path in the ribs.
 
i went for a weeezer concert....it was very nice. I picked my girlfriends purse and i found a picture of *ahem* us doing......things :)
but anyways, concerts rock...if the bands are good.

i allways wanted to go for a led zepp, acdc, black sabbath concert which i havent done :(
 
If anyone tried to pick pocket me at a concert id rip their eyeballs from their skulls. It's a bad idea.

I'm one of those idiots that if I'm really enjoying a set, I get really into the music. I jump. I sing. I hug. I don't kick people in the ribs.
 
Yeah depends on the music. You're not gonna catch me dead at a hardcore show... the invisible ninja fighting is just freaking ridiculous. Same for punk, and some of that metalcore stuff.... Meh... ridiculous.

It's strange the metal guys are much more laid back when it comes to moshpits lol...
 
i was once in a nice reggae concert in Freiburg ...

Gentleman was playing , and there came this dude ... man he was crazy , jumping around like he did some speed pills kickin people ....

that really pissed me , i was so damn good stoned this day.... so i smacked him.
well he went down, i was chilled , lighted the 5th one this evening ...

very funny that day , aw yes the concert was really stunning really cool chilly atmosphere!
 
1) Bands with ninja crowds are not true hardcore, but that New York hardcore tough guy bullshit, which is a load of ass.
2) Punk shows(as you like to put it) have awesome antics...circle pits, push pits, people fucking each other up...it's a great time to me. Those guys pick each other up too.
3) Metalcore falls into the same category as this "hardcore" you have described, only the people "moshing" are much smaller and wear much tighter pants.
4) Metal guys stand there and headbang. Boring!
 
I'm into metal, not whatevercore, and I'm into enjoying the show, not dancing in some chaotic pit. But hey, if that's your bag, that's awesome. Just not my thing I guess.

Us metal guys enjoy the show and just sorta bump into each other... you guys like to do that crazy windmill shit! :tongue:

It's cool discussing this with you, though. :)
