So there's this pencil in a test tube thats put in this beaker filled with water. When you look inside it from the top of the beaker, you can't see the end of the pencil but you can see everything above it.
Basically, you can only see the things inside the test tube that are above the water. Why is that? I think it has something to do with the water altering light rays and causing a reflection, which is why we cant see whats inside. BUT WHY?
