Started with excruciating pain in my back that would shoot down my left leg when I walked. Mostly at night the sciatic nerve in my left leg would fire off. I sleep on my stomach. I tried sleeping on my side but now my pelvis feels like it tightens up and it hurts when I first move from any position. Sides are worst but can feel it sitting up or moving from a laying down position. Chiropractor agrivated the back pain. Massage therepist helps but doesn't get rid of problem. Doctor suggested wait it out, or steroid shot that has a 50/50 chance of helping. I had the therepist and chiroprator tell me my scarum is rotating to one side. But no one seems to know how to fix this.
Any suggesting?

Try putting a pillow under your stomach if you must sleep on your stomach. that helps to support your spine. I can no longer sleep on my stomach, but used to. I have similar problems, and you probably have some muscle irabalance that causes your pelvis to rotate. I have been going to massage and it is helping. It takes several sessions though. There are trigger points that when released, help to keep things in balance. There are also many videos on the internet showing exercises for this.
