I'm also so extremely nervous because I totally wish I could direct these movies myself! :lol: And that they could be rated R - though I know that's silly. :P

When I was a kid I wanted to make Ella Enchanted into a movie and rate it PG-13 and then what came later almost ruined me forever. :lol:

Yeah they are older in the movie but I have that feeling that they wouldn't be using 11 year olRAB to play the parts.

This. Suzanne could have tried to make it all ~epic and have Katniss single handedly bring down the Capitol but she didn't. And I like that it was finally revealed that Snow was evil all along (she always seemed skeevy to me anyway :lol: ) since it added depth and a twist to the storyline. The deaths in MJ were particularly hard to swallow though, since these were characters we grew to adore and love. [sp]Finnick's in particular was SO TOUGH to see, because he was one of my favourite characters - next to PK. :bawl: [/sp]

And Peeta's transformation was completely heartbreaking :cry: ... as was Katniss's reaction to it. I know people felt she was so weak in MJ but I personally found it refreshingly realistic. Peeta had been by her side and an important part of her life for almost two years at that point, and for him to be ripped from her in an instant - and even worse, for him to HATE her mindlessly - was too much for her to bear. She's only human, despite everything she had accomplished up to that point, and she had already been through so much and what happened to Peeta was the last straw.

Sorry for the long essay :lol: ... I always feel the need to defend Katniss's characterisation in MJ. ;)

They're keeping a lot of that under wraps I guess :nod: I hope they show Peeta in the arena even when he's not with Katniss.

I agree. It's not just another teen book. It really has something substantial to offer its readers. MJ was hard to read, but it was the best book in terms of quality.

I think Josh looks awesome, despite not getting much in the trailer. Can't wait to see my Peeta on screen. :thud:
