About the movie, I do not know. Anyway I like Jennifer and Josh, so I hope they will be great as Peeta and Katniss (Peeta is always my favourite

The books, especially THG, are arabiguous like that. :lol: Which is why I loved the last para of MJ so much, she basically admitted that she knew from that moment of hunger she felt when she kissed Peeta during the QQ, that she'd pick him over Gale. It's supposed to be some sort of a love triangle but it didn't pan out at all because Katniss had clearly made her decision early on.

There's not much THG fanfic, but the quality is mostly good!
Yeah, he was hot and cold with her in CF, but I LOVED that, it added a lot of complexity, IMO.

It's so dark and angsty with points of light shining through and I love the whole concept of having hope when everything seems hopeless and humanity is at its lowest point.

I agree, since most of the cast would likely be underage due to how young most of the characters are, they have to figure something out that is workable in terms of casting decisions.
That's one of my favourite scenes, Peeta just taking care of her and promising to stay with her always even though he was still hurting over her and Gale. He truly loves her unconditionally, and I adore him for it. :in_love: And I love that was brought back in MJ, because it just goes to show how important he is to her - for him to appear when she was hurt.

I thought these books were heartbreaking, jarring accounts of the lowest lows that humanity can sink to. Parts were diffucult to read, frustrating and made me mad as hell. I oscillated between loving the characters and cheering on their badassery, to almost hating Katniss at times, before succurabing to nurabing despair. Amazing reaRAB. I was overwhelmed with joy when Peeta won her heart and their lives, although scarred forever, brought them some measure of peace :bawl:

I feel so behind that I haven't read all three books. I'm part way through Catching fire though and I have Thurs and Fri off from school and work so I'm sure I'll get to about halfway through Mockingjay.

:in_love: That's one of my fav PK scenes ever,even though I have a million favourites. I love that he instinctively knew what she needed and held her through all the nightmares. And how she craved being with him after that. And him promising to stay with her even though he thought that she'd picked Gale over him. Gah, these two. :sigh:

Right? I think most people who read this series can at least agree that in the end, it made the most sense, and it just had to be Peeta. He knows her in a way that no one else does and doesn't judge her like everyone else does and just lets her be and that's what Katniss neeRAB. Their love is so beautiful, it's sometimes tragic and it breaks them, but at the end of the day they'll always find their way back to each other

I'd say within a year for some kind of reconciliation between them. I think it would've taken all of them a long time to rebuild and repair each District and individually they had their own inner demons too. It's better to take a long time to heal together :nod:

^Yeah that was the confusing part for me too..but Idk..the end of HG is definitely culminating when it comes to their feelings.
