peek flow meter reading

hi can some one tel me what the average peek flow meter reading is for a 8 yr old my daughter is on salbutamol and modulite we are very new to the world of asthma and i could do with as much info as possible ive only just got my little girl her peak flow meter today any help will be welcomed thanks
 
Everyone is different so what may be normal for her may not be normal for another 8yr old. The meter usually comes with some package information that gives ranges for peak flows. That should give you a general idea of where she should be. However, whatever it is when she feels her best, is what she try to maintain.

Frankly, I tossed mine after about a year. I found I knew better how I was feeling that what the meter showed so I just relied on my innate sense of my health.
