Pedit Program

I recently saw an e-mail which referred to the Pedit family of programmes. Has anyone used them? They are supposed to enhance the built in memo pad.....

Anyone help?

Haven't any experience but I'll find them and take a look. In my experience "memo tweakers" can do more damage, are messy, bloated and difficult to delete (or should I say ERADICATE).

Sometimes warm reset is necessary to remove trace files and "hooks," but I may be overstating a non existent problem. I'll check 'em out tonight.

Looking at the manual (PTL you'd be proud of me!) it seems so complicated, and yet the reviews of it are so over the top, that I wonder if I'm missing the point somewhere.....

Is this a programme for the real Palm 'ninja', or is it just more complicated than necessary? Surely a programme such as Wordsmith or even D2G seem to do the same thing, or again am I missing the point? The reviews talk about 'text editors' as oppossed to 'word processors'......am I being thick?

Have a tip top day,

Cyclinghermes,

errrrr, can you improve on I hate it!? Did it muck up your PDA, was it impossible to use? Was it, as I fear, too complicated?

Have a look at the reviews, they're glowing! And I do realise that programmers rarely post bad ones, one really caught my eye. In the light of the crap service some of us have had in regards to getting bugs fixed or even at times acknowledgement that that fault lies with the programme and not the user, the users of pedit are vocal in their support of the programmer. If the reviews are to be believed, he has amended his product continually and there are updates (for free! Take that Iambic!) on an almost daily basis.
