I had the PEBL U6 and used it with Cingular in Southern California. The reception was great. It was pretty much close to, if not on par with, the reception I had with my Razr V3. I had no complaints while I had it. Then again, it could also depend on your coverage area. I generally get good reception with most of my phones.
