PEBL or RAZR for wife?

I'm going to do a family plan for me and the little lady. She hardly uses her phone and wants A) Long standby life B) Small size. I'm going to get her either a PEBL or a RAZR.

Does anyone know if she is likely to get more standby time with one or the other?

What about size? I have read the dimensions and while the RAZR is thinner I suspect the PEBL feels thinner because it is rounded. I will go check this out in person so I guess this question is not as important as the battery issue.

The razr is a lot thinner than the pebl but it's also longer and wider. It's still probably more comfortable in a pocket than a pebl, though.

If your lady friend hardly uses her phone, why not get her something with better battery life and better reception, like the v195?
 
I have not read up much in the PEBL, but the RAZR has one of the worst bat cycles. It wants to be put back on the charger every other day. My old VX6000 can be on standby for over a week with normal use and still have 2 bars of life left. I use my cell for everything. I don't have a landline anymore, so I can't just talk til my phone dies like so many people seem to do. It sounds like your in a diffrent situation, but for the way I use a cell, I can't and won't look at the phones of the month. You might not want to either.
 
That is a practical suggestion. I wanted to get her something that looked "nice" but realistically she is going to be more happy with something that has a huge battery. Tmobile says the v195 has 17 days of standby time. Nice! Thanks for the helpful suggestion!
