Pearl vs Sidekick 3

Basically I'm looking for a phone that has good reception, a great web browser, a good AIM client, and some decent games. I really want something with a full keyboard but it's hard to come by. Right now I have an SDA and I hate windows mobile. It's slow and is really ugly. I don't care about installing apps or streaming movies or playing music. I just want something that is stable, fast, and does what I said above.

I am looking at the Sidekick 3 and the Blackberry Pearl. I don't care about WiFi, since I never use it on my SDA. I just want something easy to type on, has a really good "cool" factor. And has some decent games, and a good browser.

I don't want the MDA since I don't like the SDA. I love the Nokia S60 phones, but I haven't found one with a keyboard that looks good. I have a 7610 and I love the OS.

Let me know if you have any suggestions on any phones and give me some honest reviews of each.

Wow, I've never even heard/seen that phone before. It looks awesome. Any idea how the AIM is and what games are available for it? I think I may look into getting one. And can it use T-Mobile EDGE?

Reading over some stuff on the forums, it doesn't seem like many people like the M600. I personally think it looks great, but I don't really have a need for a touch screen. The Opera browser looks really good though. That's the type of phone I'm basically looking for. A great Browser, AIM, and a keyboard. There are some pretty good games for the M600 too which is really nice. It's too bad there weren't better reviews for it. I think the white one is amazing looking. Very simple and clean.

If you want to search for phones go to www.phonescoop.com or www.gsmarena.com Im sure you can find something that you will like.

I literally just got an m600i yesterday. Using it on T-Mob. I had been considering it for awhile but was unsure because of some mixed reviews and the lack of a camera (I was really heavy into the cam on my w800i when I first got it, but use it less and less lately).

I fell in love with the m600i immediately upon booting it up. The UI is so pretty and the UI and phone itself are very elegant, IMHO. The form factor is a little odd, being kind of wide and flat, but I like it. Big screen and qwerty board without being thick - I tend to keep my phone in my front jeans pocket, so I like thin phones. I got the black one, not the white. They're both really simple and pretty, I think. The QWERTY board is great, too, once you get used to each button having different functions depending on which way you press it. A few oddities here and htere, of course, but nothing's perfect.

I'm having issues getting the phone to work on my TZones account, however. Other phones I've tried worked just fine for IMAP email and WAP or HTML browsing. This phone simply won't connect. Could be a firmware bug, could be a hardware bug. I'm eager to try it, though, because I've heard good things about the Web browser and RSS reader.

Another phone you might want to check out is the Nokia E70. It's amazing. Too bulky for me and I don't really need WiFi. But the screen is gorgeous, the web browser is so so clever, and the whole thing is just really well done.

I wrote a full review of it that was reposted in the reviews section of HoFo, actually.

I think I'm becoming a fan of Symbian OS phones ...
