pdanet on htc hero..will sprint charge?

The 5 GB cap is only specific to the internet air cards not the web on the cell phones. He should not get charged for going over if he is watching it on his phone.
 
I have a friend of mine who uses PDAnet on his HTC HERO by Sprint to watch netflix movies and youtube and download music and stuff. Im sure hes going over 5GB... will he get charged extra from sprint? He has the unlimited data package plan! Also the PDAnet website says its free so whats the deal? Anybody know from experience?
