BOTTOM LINE---I want a phone that I can sync with outlook 2003 for my contacts and calendar and to do list. I don't need any special bells and whistles or anything, I just want to have my daily appointments on the screen, and be able to sync the phone with outlook 2003. I also don't have a lot of money to spend, there are a lot of motorola MPX200 and MPX220's out there but they are all a ton of refurbs which makes me nervous about getting the phone. If anybody has any good advice for a phone that can sync with outlook 2003 and is a cheaper phone that i could buy unlocked (i have to sign up with verizon btw) i would really appreciate it, thanks!
 
my advice is to stay away, far far away from the moto mpx220's. I had one when it first came out on cingular in late 2004, then i sent it in for a warranty and they sent me another one, after which we did another warranty again and it was still having the same problems as well. After the 3rd exchange, I had enough and demanded that they send me the audiovox smt5600. I have been using that for almost a year now, and am happy as a bee, although i am bored with the phone and thinking about selling it on ebay and getting the nokia 9300.

But that is my little rant about the mpx220. Please, oh please save yourself the trouble and avoid it like the plague it is.
