PDA/Smartphone for Mac (with DUN)

Ok so this question might have been asked before but I cannot seem to find it. I need to get a PDA/Smartphone with high speed internet that I can tether with my Powerbook G4 to use the phone as a modem. Now, this is something I've never done before, so the whole concept has my brain in a KNOT.

I've narrowed my picks to:

Morotola Q (Verizon)
Palm Treo 700p (Cingular)
Blackberry 8700 (T-Mobile)

There might be better ones (i dont know about them), but i need to know what the best one is to get for my mac that would be the EASIEST to set up and have the fastest speed. I had purchased an MDA and spent two weeks trying to sync it up so my mac could get internet through it and i had no luck whatsoever...

Any help whatsoever would be appreciated!!
 
this is one of my questions as well...I would assume that the palm would be the easiest OS to deal with, but I am not speaking from experience. I was also looking for great syncing with OS X (just like the syncing you get from Activesync if you buy a WinMobile device and use WinXP)

Sigh, I guess us mac users will have to continually wait...
