PDA Phones

Hey all,

So I'm looking to get a new phone for my boss. Currently she's using a Treo 650, problem is it's a piece of crap (poor reception, technical failures, memory faults, etc). So here I am, looking for some advice.

What I need to find is a phone that:

Is a PDA, able to sync with a Mac (Now Contact, Now Up-to-Date)
Is an unlockable GSM phone (lots of international travel, need to be able to switch those SIM cards!)
Is technically sound and has good reception
Is available through a Canadian service provider (yes, we're based in Canada), hopefully one that offers a decent rate plan (we're hoping to switch from Rogers Wireless if at all possible)

Would upgrading to a Treo 680 solve her problems while fitting those requirements?
What about switching over to a Blackberry (is PocketMac a reliable way to sync a Blackberry to a Mac?)

Any insights and / or comments are appreciated...

I think blackberry itself has a more stable platform and easier input once you get used to it also not to sure about pocketmac but check what cnet has to say or google it

Blackberry 8800 sounds like a nice alternative. It's unlockable as well, and has blackberry maps with GPS and its quadband.

Btw, Roger's sells Blackberry 8800.
