I'm planning to buy myself a PDA or pocket PC (is there a difference? :/ )
I'm quite the noob on these things, but i'm not a noob when it comes to phones...

anyway, I want the CHEAPEST solution that meets these requirements:

Most important are up top:
-Decent, quality
-synchronisable with PC
-Internet. this is a must, i want to be able to surf the internet on my wireless home LAN.
-connectivity : bluetooth and USB are a must.
IR , QPRS ,... are wanted too
Lots of usb ports and such...i love that
-easy to type on.
-expandable memory (SD cards or something)
-Highly editable, (i know this sounds vage...let me clear it up al little ) open source
-Windows mobile, or something similar .
As long as it is a bit open source and you can install stuff etc.
-MP3 , movies, you know...

I will mainly use it for
-typing some texts , and then send those texts to my PC or put them on the net.
-surfing the internet.

oh and a second question:
Is it expensive to have to also let it have a phone function?
Will this make it much more expensive?

Thankyou all for reading

ok, i did some overdue catching up on the PDA knowledge now.

I already know a PDA and a pocket PC are the same thing lol
and now i think wifi is the thing i need to surf the internet. yes?

so anyway,
I need WIFI to

i cant believe im finna do this but im gonna recommend the tmobile sidekick to you...if all you wanna do is send text to the internet and nothing else, the sidekick is perfect for you. enstead of using text u can use the email capability of the sidekick. anything saved on the sidekick email, photo gallery, calander, notes and 2do list, is instantly viewable on the internet via your tmobile desktop interface website. thats the best feature of the sidekick.
however if you want more advanced features your s.o.l.
