PC to TV via USB2

How can you tell if it's HD, I thought that was the resolution.

it is indeed the resolution, hd is classed as either 720x1280 (720p) or 1080x1920 (1080i/p)

That thing you linked to doesn't do resolutions that high (it also uses analogue connections, which can't do hd, 'cept the vga) therefore it can't do hd.

Gotcha, it's the resolution and it's a digital rather than an analogue signal.

So my 19 inch widescreen (which is HD) would look OK with the highest resolution there, but it wouldn't be HD.

I'd say yes, it won't be hd but it'd be decent looking. I'm not certain tho' as I've never tried it.

At 1024x768 it'd be in 4:3 as opposed to 16:9 tho'.

The remote's got a button that has 4 options.

Original
4:3
Zoom (Fill Screen)
Widescreen.

That usually does a decent job, even if it isn't a WS broadcast.

Might be some graphical artifacts, lyke. But I've never tried that with anyhing wot wasn't already compressed and thus prone to having artifacts because of that as well. So I don't know for certain.
