i installed pc guard earlier this week and once this was done my computer became slow would constantly freeze and internet explorer would not respond as did windows media player a virus scan was taking 3hrs + (is that the norm?) so i un-installed it and my computer is pretty much running as before i now have pc tools anti-virus temporary as i intend to purchase norton 360 soon but for now freebies will do but with pc tools sometimes windows is picking up the anti-virus other times it is telling me that i'm not protected and to find a programme so am i protected even though windows security says im not? should i look for alternative anti-virus programme?
