PC and Mac video game capabilities?

Okay for computer games, on the box or on the internet games have pc capabilities and it lists all of these things you need. Does that mean you cannot play this game on a mac or yes? If so, do they make games for macs??
 
If a game doesn't say it's mac compatible, then that means it is not. Yes, they do make mac compatible games, but you usually have to order them online, or go to an apple store. (Try macmall for an online resource). Some PC games will run on a mac using emulation like VMWare fusion. I know quake 3 runs well on fusion, but that's the only one I have tried.
