subtle I went to decent schools post and unless you wanna talk about 400 person seminars where grades were based on recycled standardized tests by professors who taught 3 hours a week and had TAs teach the rest and had tenure and didn't give a fuck and those classes meant nothing to anyone anyway and they wanted to grade high to make it appear as though they were doing a good job--then yeah I got a point or two here and there sometimes and didn't feel bad about it. It had no overall bearing on my academic education at all, nor did it penalize anyone else in the process.

No it's two different things you idiot. They inject a considerable amount of money into the system. But when you take out more money from their income then they will have less to spend. Thus making that considerable amount next to nothing.
