Paying for college question...?

I never signed up for the draft, and now I am over the age limit to do it, so I cannot get a grant. I was just wondering if anybody had any other ideas on how to pay for my second year of college (besides a loan). I went through one year paying for it by a loan. Any help would be appreciated.
 
if you are at a research university (check Carnegie classifications), ask around to professors if they need research assistants, especially with profs who are interested/teach in your major field, so that the information is actually useful to you in the future. Often, research assistants get perks like tuition remission, so some of your credits will be paid for by the university.
