Payed too much for 09 honda civic lx?

I payed 18,800 out the door including tax etc. I was convinced by the finance manager to get the anti theft system which is called a kill switch i think. If someone tries to steal my car, the engine will shut off. He told me to get because honda civic is the most stolen cars in america.

Was it really worth it to get this security system?

depends on where you live. if you live in a high crime area then i would say yes. if you dont then i would have skipped it.

on the other hand, if he asked you for that i would have tried to talk him/her into throwing it in for free. but thats just me
