When it's time for a raise, and I do well enough to deserve a raise, can the employee here in Nova Scotia NOT give me a raise, and instead use the min. wage hike AS my raise? (Example, I was due for a ten or so cent raise, when min. wage went up to $9.25 for everyone in the province, I wasn't given my raise and this was called the raise. It's been like this for YEARS) Also, working in Tim Horton's, can they keep my tips to 'balance' the till if it's under?
