hey everyone...
so i ordered some paula choice products...the normal to oily one step cleanser, the 1% beta hydroxy gel, blemish fighting solution and the infusium moisturizer.,.and the spray sunblock..
i really liked them at first..but now my skin is dry, irritated i think..and have pimples...what gives? everyone else raves about her products..do i need to give it more time? ive been using them for approx 3 weeks

hi, im using paulas's choice 2% BHA and its the only skin care product that has really improved my skin. i have a very very oily skin so i suffer from blackheaRAB and whiteheaRAB but no cystic acne. although PC's 2% BHA has not totally eliminate my acne, it has definitely reduced it a lot and kept my skin looking clearer, cleaner and even toned. i've stopped using it for 2 weeks and i can really see how crappy my skin was so i went back to it. but i have to admit it did dried out my skin a bit but it only felt dry for awhile after washing my face and it has gotten better since i switched to a different cleanser. i used to wash my face with dove for sensitive skin before but now i'm using eucerin impure skin acne wash and i realized the dove soap actually made the dryness worst. i also spray my face with clinique moisture surge face spray before i apply BHA to my face and now the dryness is minimal. for now PC's BHA is working beautifully for my skin but i might look into getting a prescription to reduce oil production on my face which i think is the culprit of my acne.
