Paul Verhoeven's 'Blackbook',worst movie ever!

Has anyone seen it?It's a Dutch film,so perhaps not.It's incredibly,incredibly bad.But just because it's so awful,it's also unintentially hilarious.
Just wondered if anyone on here agrees/disagrees.

i thought it was brilliant, typical OTT verhoeven but i loved the fact the nazi was actually not that bad

the lead actress was amazing too

Like Dame Hedwig said, it's not Citizen Kane but it's lightyears from being the worst ever. I found it enjoyable enough.

It's not a bad film at all. The plot is a bit unsatisfying but it's quite enjoyable if you treat it as a thriller rather than a serious study of how people behave when their country is occupied.

But Paul Verhoeven did make (in my humble opinion) one of the best movies of all time...

It's a classic sci-fi film.

Curious choice of worst PV film. That honour surely goes to Showgirls. Blackbook was fine.

Where do I start?It's totally unrealistic,the characters are one dimensional,there were many historical inaccuracies;and while there's nothing wrong with a bit ott if you like that sort of thing,it's another thing to pretend you are presenting an historically sound 'masterpiece' that represents Holland during the second world war while in reality it's just another vulgar typical Paul Verhoeven romp,complete with the obligatory vomiting, faeces,and ofcourse plenty of other hangups of his.Bleaching of pubic hair, silly sex scenes and completely ridiculous dialogue.
I could go on about the many inaccuracies but I won't,as many people seem very keen on it and I don't want to offend anyone

Did you even follow the story? there is a reason she bleached her pubic hair... and as for the sex scenes, they were nothing compared to some of his older films.

There's no arguing with a position as dunderheaded as this one, except to say that I believe pictures of naked ladies can be found on the internet sometimes.

We won't even go into my 25+ years of personal research into this area.
