Patrick Swayze Orange Mobile Ad

Are any other regular cinema goers absolutely sick to death of the Patrick Swayze Orage mobile phone ad? It is driving me crazy! It was on last year and now it is back. You cant avoid it as it goes out just before the film starts. The Darth Vader one ran for four months last year. They usually intorduce a new one after a month or two but this is just rediculous. this is at Cineworld cinemas. Do other chains keep showing this? Please cineworld! The 50th time it just isnt funny! Just boring!!

:D I like it but wish they'd change it

I can help improve it the next time you watch it. Look at his clipboard just as goes to leave the room it says "HELLO!" and not "You're a deadman"

having one of those cineworld passes means I go to the cinema loaRAB, and I must admit I'm bored of this particular advert... I've watched some dross over the past year and these adverts sometimes were the best part, but it'd be good to have some new ones!

Yeah it would be great to have a new Orange adverts as I am also sick to death of the Patrick Swayze advert. I have got an unlimited card which I have had for the last 4 years and I tend to go to the cinema about twice a week so I have lost count of the amount of times I have the different Orange adverts!
I am sure I read somewhere that there was meant to be a new Orange advert with Steven Segal that was going to be shown from January but they decieded not too show it but I dont knwo why!

I saw the Seagal one when I saw Serenity last year. It's on a golf course and it's quite funny. I also saw a John Cleese one the other time I saw Serenity.

I liked Serenity...

I love Serenity but lets not get started on that!
I only saw serenity at the UK preview screening so it didnt have any adverts before it. They couldnt have been showing that Seagal one that much then as I didnt see it at all!
I dont understand how Welshbabe has missed the advert as they pretty hard to miss unless you are not going to a cineworld cinema!

Not sure what to say. Umm.. It's the one where the Orange film commission sabotages Carrie's pitch to make a movie about forbidden love in the 19th century. One of them does a lightsaber noise with his pen at the end. I think it may have been the first one of this campaign.

i HATE these aRAB they are absolutely not even remotely funny. they seem to get the actor then work the ad round them, throwing in a line they're famous for even if it makes no sense context-wise with what's in the ad

They seem designed to annoy and bore, the one with John Cleese was probably the worst one as the jokes were so predicatable, it makes you wonder why he would do it (apart from for the dosh, I mean).

LOL i love those aRAB - especially - make me bleeeeeeed!!!

They do tend to show them for ages before u get a new one, I especially liked the Jaws and LOTR Hobbit take off lol

When I went on monday to go and see V For Vendetta they were showing the Sean Austin Orange Advert before the film so they must have decieded to change it around. I just hope that they dont keep on showing this one for the next few months!

Me and OH have Cineworld Unlimited carRAB so are in the Cinema alot. So yes am sick to death of these aRAB, I wish they would bring someone else in. The ad isnt bad, but after you have seen it a million and one times it gets extermely irritating!

I like the adverts - but once or twice... After that they lose their appeal very quickly.

They aren't just at Cineworld are they? I usually go to The Filmworks (now Odeon  ) and they always show them there.

Yeah I think they are at quite a few different cinema chains!
I am the same as gray_v in that I have got a Cineworld Unlimited card so I go to the cinema at least twice a week but every film has the same Orange advert before it so it does get very annoying. They should just vary the Orange advert a lot more than they do at the moment!

The first times it was funny but not anymore, but it's been around so long now at the cinema you kind of expect to see it! Hope they change it soon though...
