When you boot up the phone, password prompt is the only thing available, and there is no way to enter codes because there is a 4 to 8 digit limit and # and *'s are not allowed.

Only way i can get to the keypad is if i make an SOS call but when they hang up on me it locks back to the password screen. Anyway to reset this?

here you go

remove sim then insert battery then power on then in screen disply insert sim

you need to insert the sin without powering off

then type this *#9998*3323#

then exit
selet n# the get to restart then wait thats all

going to try it tomorrow when i pick up the phone from the shop, in the mean time, my filipino wife thanks you for the info, as do i.

so putting the sim card in when the phone is on will override the password screen? or will a different screen pop up? does it have to be a tmobile sim card or another carriers card?

yes power on without sim after power on insert sim without powering of

then type this *#9998*3323#

pres exit then wait select n# 1 then reboot automatic

did not work, after i inserted my own tmobile sim card, nothing popped up, the password screen still didnt go away? Only way i can get the keypad is to make an SOS call and even when i put codes in it still wont work.

even when i take the sim card out it still asking me for the password i need help. it has to be a way to put in in A NO SIM MODE i seen a video where it shows the phone in that mode
any help is greatly appreciated

thanks

that phone must be i-series as you didn't specify, without sim type *2767*3855# and wait for reboot, all will be ok, or *2767*2868#
