Passenger in car accident, am i entiltled to a settlement?

Months ago i was involved in a car accident. A car had rear-ended my friend (I was in the passenger seat) and we were both injured. we had to endure several weeks of therapy and adjustments to alleviate the pain of the injuries sustained. So my question is will we both get a settlement or just him?
 
you are both entitled to settlments. You will probably have to contact a lawyer on your own. They don't automatically settle with everyone.
