Partially flashed V3C to Cricket.....Help!!!!

Thanks for looking. I wanted to buy a V3C Razr CDMA for my daughter and flash it to Cricket. I spoke to a wireless company that told me they could do it,so I bought it, took it to them. They apologized saying they couldn't flash the V3C. Stuck with this phone, I got the necessary files to flash it. I flashed it successfully, took it to Cricket and they told me they couldn't ativate it because it didn't flash all the way, meaning it detected Cricket calls coming in, but calling out goes to Verizon.

I've tried several times to reflash. I get to the last part where it says to reboot my phone manually, I reboot, but it doesn't seem to recognize my phone. It keeps showing the message reboot manually.

all i can figure out is mabye you didnt master/clear-reset. i used multiflash which came with pst phone programmer. i didnt have one problem. i actually changed to cricket while the phone was verizon. then i flashed the cricket firmware. not one problem. every problem with flashing that i have read about seems to be accociated with rsd-lite. hmmmmm................................................never know.

When I call *228 to activate, it goes to Verizon. I used the multiflash and flashed it. By master/clear-reset, did you mean check those boxes in the preferences? It still calls out to verizon.

i think this is a PRL issue, you'll find the file around here somewhere, did you or the ppl at the cricket store try manually programming it?

a PRL issue would mean that the phone probably does not have the right PRL (prefered roaming list) file on it. You should upload the CricKet prl version 1039 which is already uploaded to this forum (just search). Then your phone will look for the right towers to connect to instead of Verizon.

So spycameras, does that long list that you posted mean that Cricket in Houston uses PCS 1900?
I'm trying to take a Virgin mobile phone to Cricket here in Houston, but I wanna make sure I don't run into something.
I thought Virgin uses Sprint's towers which are 1900, but I thought Cricket uses 850 here in Houston.
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but any help would be much appreciated.
