For the past year, I have been riding and taking horseback riding lessons. I really like it since its one of the only things I actually like and stick to, not like dancing or soccer. In April, we bought a set of 8 lessons, the 8 lessons finished up yesterday so I asked my mom when where booking for my next set of lessons, shes now saying that she and my dad have decided that I shouldn't go anymore because they think its a waste of time. FINALLY, SOMETHING I REALLY ENJOY they take it away. Its not far, its 10 minutes away, I could walk there if I really wanted to. I volunteer there and help out with the barn and made many friends from there. My mom is just like
"we'll see, we'll talk about it". I always used to be so excited when I had lessons, I couldn't wait to go, and now its over. How do I deal with this, how can I talk to my parents to just let me do an activity that I like? Why do I have to sit home all day and not have any activity to do. There were so many benefits on this, I really loved it. I don't see how its a waste. I am 14, why do my parents have to make their decision for me enjoying something, its not a bad things, it keeps me out of trouble, im not playing on the computer or texting, im actually doing something productive and they think its a waste. Any ideas?
Its actually a pretty crappy place, very cheap, only about $230 for 8 lessons while this other place I went to was atleast 600.
