Parents who use the Rainforest Swing for their kid.?

We stopped when they were about 18 lbs. They were just not all that interested in it anymore. The exersaucers and sitting up, playing on the floor became much more interesting.

i quit using it at about 6 months bc she was jumping out. she weighed about 20 lbs. i couldnt leave the room without worrying about her twisting over and crawling out so i got rid of it. it was worth the money though, it gave me 6 months worth of breaks and sleep.

We've stopped using it since Sophie was about 6 months and could sit up. She hated the declined seat and kept pulling herself up. I was worried she would fall out. I called Fisher Price and told them it was a lovely swing, but why couldn't they put more inclines in it so a baby could use it when they were sitting up. The rep told me you could not use it once baby was sitting up or weighed 25 lbs that there was a risk of them tipping the swing over. I hated that we spent so much money on it and could only use it for a short time!

my baby is 15 pounds and 7 months old and i still use it, until she falls out or i have another problem i will continue to use it and i think that each person knows what is best, if you feel unsafe using the swing, stop using it but if it is still working for you, go for it. i don't follow the rules and regulations to the date or weight, cause every kid is different. i read on here earlier that a bassinet shouldn't be used past 12 weeks or if your child can roll or move, it's so not true for me my kid is still using her bassinet and she is as i said 7 mths old. you decide!!!!!!
