Parents and the Sex Talk?

1) How will/did you approach the sex talk with your teenagers?
2) Will you take your teen to get birth control and condoms if they ask?
3) Which do you feel is more important, safe sex or abstinence?
4) Would you allow them to have sex under your roof?

My Answers:

1) When my kids are teens the safe sex talk will be looooong and severely pounded into their brains because I am a teenage mother and I don't want them to go down that same path. They will both know about the risks of sex, they will know that I will gladly take them to buy birth control and condoms anytime they ask, and I will make damn sure that they understand that safe sex is the ONLY sex that someone who doesn't want a baby should be having, period!

2) Absolutely YES.

3) Safe sex. Sad to say, but abstinence is not realistic anymore.

4) Nope. If they want to have sex, fine. I will take them to get contraceptives anytime they ask, no questions asked. But under no circumstances will they be having sex in my house unless they are over 18 years old and paying their share of the bills.
@Superguy1221: LMAO @ sex in the living room. That's awesome.
