Parents and teenage sex?

Would you be mad at your teenage son/daughter if they had PROTECTED sex with somebody?..but wouldn't you be happy that he didn't get her pregnant or that she didn't get pregnant.I'm talking about teens in High School.
 
I dont know, but my mom always told me that she would neve be mad at me. She told me that if the time came where I was going to have sex, she would rather me tell her so she can get me protection.
 
I would be extremely mad. I wouldn't kill the kid, but he or she would know I was displeased.Protected sex is really no protection at all.
 
No-as long as they aren't excessively young, like younger than high school and they are in love. Also, as long as they are using condoms and another form of birth control.
 
if its protective sex then you shouldn't be mad. yes it sucks that they're having sex when they're young but what would you rather have, you telling them no and and them doing it anyways or you telling them use birth control and a condom and them doing it. my moms philosophy was i know i can't fight you on sex because if you want to do something you're going to do it no matter what i say, and i'd rather you tell me about it so i can keep you protected instead of you having a baby. if you're mad at them over this they probably will be more sneaky and more irresponsible, but if you talk to them about and keep sex information open you can be sure they are being safe.
 
That is a tough question. I would be mad that they had sex, yes but at least they had enough common sense to protect themselves. My question is if they had enough common sense to protect them self why didnt they have enough common sense to wait till they are mature enough to handle the responsibilities and emotions that come along with sex? I'm not saying wait until marriage just wait until you are old enough to handle the emotional aspects that come along with that.
 
Yes I would not only mad at my son/daughter because probablyou afuriousenager you are yet ready to deal with parenting IF YOU DO happen to get pregnate I would say its good you uses protection but make sure not to do it again not only can you get pregnat you also get many diseases
