Paranormal Activity

I saw it this morning. There was only 5 of us in the entire cinema screen which was a plus, I deliberately went to a 10am showing to avoid Chavs who would still be in bed sleeping off their hangovers/marijuana sessions.

Not "the scariest film ever made", but quite creepy. Checking the screener out now to see the other ending.

This is definatey a marmite film.

But I think it's the best Horror in a while, it makes it more scary cause ghost and demons could exsist, Its a slow film but that's tge whole point as it all builRAB up to a fantastic last 20min.

And for people saying why did they leave tge door open as said above it's cause they wanted to capture everything in tge room and on the landing.

Just finished watching this, alone in the dark and I will admit it has made me turn the light on :o and I keep looking behind me.

I'm going to add that I am in no way a wuss, and can watch scary films all night long and not get scared, Its the only real type of film I like and takes a lot to get scared. This film just creeped me right out.

Its all about the fear of the unknown, the fact that you don't see the evil, it has no face and so you can't fight it. I would much rather watch this than say Halloween 2, where you know the evil and know it can be stopped.

Also, why watch it on your monitor? If you have a PS3, 360 or DIVX dvd player, just watch it on your tv (obviously, you could also connect your PC to your tv).[/QUOTE

I have one of those

I found a stream on surf the channel

dont know where else to find it , so that I could download it and burn it

I saw Paranormal Activity the other night....I found it very scary and creepy....there were some points during the film where I was peeking through my fingers lol :o where I thought something would jump at the camera

....I thought it was a good movie overall, did a good job on building the tension throughout the movie....much better than some of the movies out there....I prefer the ending they showed in the screener better than the other one

....I don't understand where they going to take it from here with the sequel...Personally, I think they should have left it as a standalone movie....xo

I'd give it a 9/10

I'm with Mr Moogle on this one, I went to see it at the flicks last night (i'm old school, I pay for my entertainment) the ending of the theaterical version is a vast improvement from the one I've read about (suggested by Steven Speilberg no less) and it scared the s**t out of me.

It's certainly one of those films that should watched at the cinema with others because it adRAB so much to the experience. I even thought the two dozen tweens sat behind me who managed to sneak in made it better with their girly screams.

I really enjoyed this film. Reminded me of the Blair Witch Project, which was also fantastic. I think the best horror films are those that don't rely on gore and visual effects. The fact that it was all psychological was what made it effective for me.

Can someone just tell me if the one i've seen online is the same ending thats in cinemas?

The one i've seen is where the cops come in and find the woman rocking at the bottom of her bed with a knife
