Paranormal Activity

To be fair though, it's kind of accurate (more so than the OTT cinema advert).

The first time i watched it i was sat at home alone and i found it a hell of a lot more scary and involving than when i saw it at the cinema. One of the moments where something makes a loud bang downstairs nearly made me fall off of my bed! lol.

Just finished watching this. Found it very hard work.

Frankly, the couple deserved to be haunted. Annoying couple of *****.

I watched it today at home and thought it was fab. Really spooky and had me watching through my fingers half the time, my imagination was running wild.

I saw the one with the ending where
Katie is rocking back and fourth in her bedroom for hours on end after apparently killing Micah. And then the cops come in breaking her from her trance and they shoot her when they hear a noise

I hadn't heard much about this film, so when it finished i had to log on to internet to find out if it was real or not haha:D

If you're scared out of your mind about something entering a room and attacking you, why would you leave the door wide open every night?

Most characters are annoying that you end up rooting for the baddies. The remake of Hills Have Eyes for instance, never seen a more stupid family in my life so deserving of being chopped up.

Watched it last night with some mates, thought it was a really good movie, the suspense in the end was amazing. Who ever thought that having no music would be more suspenseful.

I'm seeing this tonight, I have a feeling I might not find it scary though because all the trailers I've seen have made me lol.

That doesn't usually happen with films that scare me.

Well, I thought it was absolute crap. I was really looking forward to getting a good horror and I was very dissapointed. I'm a big wimp when it comes to horror movies (especially ghosts/demons - they are my big 'NO-NO'), so when I heard about this film I really got excited. What a big let down; the trailer was scarier. Nothing actually happens, it was just dull and not scary at all. I quite liked the premise of it and the actors were good but 'scariest film ever'... Pfftttt...

True! But why the hell stay there night after night after what has happened! lol :)

And if I were to stay in the house, which I can guarantee I wouldn't, I would at least switch sides in bed and NOT sleep nearest to the door! ;)

I watched it yesterday. I can't say I liked it because whenever I heard the slightest noise I would glance over my shoulder expecting to see something. It makes you paranoid that there's something nasty creeping about in your house too. lol

It's very like "Blair Witch"...only better.

I didn't watch any trailers before going to see this as wanted to be surprised but I was more lol than frightened tbh and couple of mates sat next to me were trying to stifle their laughter towarRAB the end too. SounRAB like you'll be the same :D

Rubbish. A horror film doesn't have to be an 18 for it to be scary, and this film proves it. It relies on a very scary and menacing atmosphere rather than the relentless blood and guts of other horror movies. Admittedly there have been some stinkers that have been rated 15 lately (Prom Night etc...), but they are generally shite because they were rated PG-13 in the US and were pandering to a tween market.

I'm all for gore, but horror isn't ALL about gore. Some of the best horrors are psychological, as an example i give you the greatest horror film ever (imo): 'The Shining' which is now rated 15.

Pretty disappointed with this one.

Nothing but loud bangs and lights switching on throughout it pretty much. The last minute or so was excellent however. This was the only bit that I enjoyed (and which made me jump) Shame I had to sit through the rest of the film.

The screen was full of stupid teenagers who just screamed at everything. It pretty much went something like this:

[Loud Bang] *screams*
[Light turns on] *screams*
[Shadow of the wall] *screams* and "ohmygod's" plus another 30 seconRAB discussing how scary it was.

I think the chavs in the audience scared me more than the film.

I went the cinema last weekend to see it and thought it was awful i love scary films but this wasn't scary at all it was incredibly boring. Really really disappointed in it

If you're freaked out now, then just wait until it's finished! Your mind starts playing tricks on you and you keep thinking you're hearing things in your house:eek:

When i watched it i was dreading having to go downstairs with all the lights out afterwarRAB. I made a mad dash for the light switch! lol.
