Way back when (in the 90's, LOL), I was into books by Lurlene McDaniel, R.L. Stine, Cherie Bennett, etc. I read two books, one called "Runaway" & another called "Paradise", both of which I swear were written by Cherie Bennett. I know they're not by Lurlene McDaniel, & obviously they're not by R.L. Stine. Cherie Bennett wrote a couple other books I've read including "The Bridesmaids" & "Girls In Love". The two books I'm trying to find came out around the same time as these other two.
"Runaway" is about a girl who gets pregnant by her boyfriend & decides she can't tell her parents about it & runs away. She ends up in some sort of school(?) or home for runaway girls. I don't remember the rest of the story. But I wanna read it again...I just need to figure out the author.
The same author wrote another novel called "Paradise". If I'm not mistaken, the story is (most likely) out of high school & was doing volunteer work in some 'far off place', i.e., the jungles of the amazon or something. Something happens to her plane & she's stranded there. But she meets another missionary worker who just so happens to coincidentally be on a mission there too. They fall in love, blah blah blah.
I've tried googling it - there are only results on Cherie Bennett writing something called "Trouble in Paradise", & I can't really seem to find anything about that one. "Runaway" just doesn't even come up. And googling the words "runaway" or "paradise" just obviously isn't gonna cut it.
So if this sounds even vaguely familiar to you, let me know!!! I've been searching for these books for a while, & I can't seem to find anything resembling them in the slightest.
