I slipped almost three months ago and an MRI showed that I have a paracentral extrusion of my L5/S1 and that I'm impinging on three nerves on my left side and two-out-of-three on my right. I have pronounced nurabness/weakness on the left side side from mid-buttocks to knee on the rear of the leg and on the heel and arch; and intermittant nurabness on the right lower buttocks and heel. I have no pain per se, but with nurabness it's often hard to tell when you're doing things that are harming you until you get the resulting nerve tingling, etc...and by then it's too late.

Lately, I've been having trouble sleeping - I think I'm just tired of laying on my back. Somehow I can't seem to get comfortable on my side - does anyone have any sleeping positions that have worked for them with a similar injury?
