The two actors who played Carlos & Jaime in Devil's Backbone also appear in Pan's Labyrinth. Backbone is set in 1939 and Pan in 1944. Do you think in Pan they are playing two random freedom fighters or do you think it is actually Carlos & Jaime?
Yeah, I also think it's the same characters. It's sad that that's how they meet their end, but I'd like to think they are amongst the crowd at the end of Pan when Ofelia is reunited with her parents. (Her father, by the way, is the guy who play the doctor in Backbone)
