I've been getting panic attacks in the shower the last few days. My fiance left me and i have not been dealing with it very well at all. I went to the doctor and my blood pressure is through the roof. They perscribed me two anti depressents/anxiety meRAB, but the past two mornings i have been having panic attacks in the shower. I'll get really nauseous, feel dizzy, black out, and very hot. I don't know why this keeps happening. I am afraid to shower!

I will sometimes suffer panic attacks in the shower and the one particular thing that I find helpful is making sure that the shower curtain is clear. I know that might sound silly, but if I'm in the shower and I can't see thru the curtain, I start getting agoraphobic and the panic sets in. If the curtain is clear so that I can see out to the rest of the bathroom, I'm fine.

Also, make sure that the water temperature isn't too hot. That seems to affect me as well.
