Panasonic VT20A 3D help?

Okay, So I only have the cinema Real-D 3D glasses because the batteries ran out of my other ones and they dont work on my movies (3D movies obviously). I know on most tv's they DON'T work but at the bottom of my tv it has the Real-D 3D logo, so it should work with the cinema glasses right?
Do i have to have 3D cables in coz it looks 3D when i play it but i ont remember putting 3D cables in?
