Hi all,
We are looking to upgrade our aging camcorder and quite like the look of the Panasonic SD600 or 700. These camcorders have a '3MOS' sensor which we're told gives excellent results. We would also like to upgrade our Canon 400D SLR and have seen the 550D SLR which does HD Video recording. This camera only has a CMOS sensor.
We're were thinking about only getting the 550D and taking still photos and movies with it and not getting the Panasonic SD600/700. Can anyone tell us from experience what the video quality is like comparable to the Panasonic SD600/700 camcorder? Is it worth only getting the Canon 550D SLR?
Many thanks in advance.
Matt & Becky.
