1 - I just bought a 42" Panasonic Plasma Viera TV (TC-P42U2) and I've read about break-in periods for plasma tv's but I couldn't find anything in the owner's manual. Does anyone know if Panasonic still recommends this or is it a thing of the past?
2 - When viewed from an angle, (the more extreme the angle, the more noticeable the effect) it appears that there's a second screen about 2 inches deeper in the set than the outside screen, and at an angle the inner screen shows the same thing resulting in somewhat of a double image. Is this normal for plasma tv's or is it a panasonic thing? Either way, I'd like to know if it's normal.
also, it squeals when it's turned off, that can't be normal is it?
