Panasonic Lumix DMC-F3 problem!?

My friend had a Panasonic Lumix DMC-F3 digital camera
Recently, we used it for a school program
When she got home to transfer the photos in her computer, we can't find the photos.
The only thing that pops in "My Computer" is LUMIX (D:)
When she clicked it, a "RECYCLER" hidden folder, "MISC" shortcut folder and a "DCIM" shortcut folder appeared wherein the photos are stored.
When we attempt to open the DCIM folder, The computer keeps on saying,

"Windows cannot find 'D:\RECYCLER{rss:Content}xFFD12566.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file bla blabla.."

We can't delete all the photos because it's for a school project PLUS her family photos are stored in there. My friend and I are really desperate to access the photos! :(
PLEASE HELP :'(

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS:
- the camera doesn't have a memory card so the photos are stored in the camera's memory
- the memory is already full
- photos can clearly view in the camera
- delete all/format is not an option :(
