I am thinking of buying the Panasonic HDC-SD700 Camcorder. I like to edit videos for my family and friends with iMovie '09 on my Mac. Does anyone know if the HDC-SD700 is compatible with iMovie (could I upload footage straight from my camcorder to iMovie?). If it is not, what software would I need to convert the files to be compatible with iMovie? and would converting the files cause me to loose some of the quality of my video? I also have Final Cut Express, I'm just not comfortable using it yet, would that work better with the HDC-SD700? Thanks!
