I've just bought this camcorder second hand and it didn't come with the supplied software, first question is whether or not it is possible to drag the files from the SD card straight to my computer... the video format is specific to the camcorder so I was under the assumption that this was not possible?
Also, I am aware that Windows Movie Maker will not edit videos in HD and I do not want to lose the quality. Could anyone recommend more sophisticated editing software that will allow me to retain the full HD quality?
