I really like my new T5 with lots of extra memory and extra fast processor. I like to play with GPS navigation and the map files are very large. I also lie the builtin bluetooth, as I was able to get a GPS that also does bluetooth. No more wires!
My gripes are:
1) The connectors for PalmOne devices are not the same. The connectors for my wife's Tungsten E are not compatible with those for my T5. The T5 even appears to be incompatible with the T3.
2) PalmOne makes you pay extra for a charging/hotsync cradle (which apparently is not available yet.) My first three PDA's, a Palm IIIXe and two Sony Clie's, all included a charging cradle.
3) The PalmOne charging adaptor is USA (115v) only. My first three PDA's had a universal-voltage charger.
4) PalmOne did not introduce the hard case at the same time as the T5. I had to buy the case separately and mail in for a rebate. Yet when I bought my wife's T-E, the case was in the box.
It seems to me that to insure customer loyalty, PalmOne should standardize on one connector and promise to use that connector for all future models. Otherwise there will be no incentive for users to stick with the same brand for future purchases.
